OpenAI brings GPT-6 with interactive 'Intelligent UI' answers to all ChatGPT tiers
OpenAI began rolling out a GPT-6 model in ChatGPT that can answer with interactive interfaces. Paid tiers got it first, with free users following the next day.
OpenAI announced on October 7 that it is bringing a new GPT-6 model to ChatGPT's Chat experience, along with a capability it calls Intelligent UI that lets ChatGPT respond with interactive interfaces rather than text alone.
The rollout began with Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise tiers, powered by GPT-6 Sol, with Free and Go tiers following from the next day on GPT-6 Luna. OpenAI says ChatGPT has more than 1.2 billion weekly users.
The company says the models powering ChatGPT's Work and Codex features are not changing as part of this release.
